Systech Fire Protection LLC (SFP), is a registered engineering firm providing specialized fire protection, life safety design, code consulting and litigation services. We are located in Illinois, Virginia, and Florida but work nationwide and across the world. SFP is a small, emerging business. SFP is experienced in all aspects of fire protection engineering both as the Prime Consultant and as a Sub-Consultant.
SFP is experienced in all aspects of life safety code consulting, sprinkler system design, fire alarm system design, forensic fire protection engineering, and expert witness testimony. This includes upgrades of existing systems and complete replacements. The firm has expertise in correcting fire and safety deficiencies in fire protection system design, and is skilled in analysis and documentation of design, installation and operation of existing active fire protection systems, including sprinklers, fire alarms, smoke management systems, and communication systems.
SFP is knowledgeable with current technology including hydraulic calculations, specialty sprinklers, water supply analysis and fire pump design, as well as addressable fire alarm systems, intelligent systems, and digital voice annunciation. SFP is also experienced with interfacing the new fire protection systems with the existing systems, as well as design of egress travel and correction of breaches in fire stopping and fire/smoke separation.
SFP has accumulated knowledge and experience with the requirements of codes and standards. The firm is also very familiar with the nature of renovation work as it has had numerous such projects in the past, and has experience and expertise in areas impacted by renovation including minor electrical issues, cutting and patching, painting, and fire stopping.
SFP has experience in Indefinite Quantity Contracts from design or analysis of systems to long term construction administration.

SFP provides complete engineering services from preliminary site investigations and surveys through preparation of Schematic, Design Development, and contact Documents ready for bidding (including plans, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates). The firm provides professional services through bid and award, construction, and post-construction phases.
